What is TOP Co-Op?

The Oxygen Project Cooperative (TOP Co-Op) offers our original, 6-week "Activate Your Activism" curriculum that educates and trains members in activism, climate science, and campaign creation. Through live digital sessions, we connect members with supportive networks of changemakers and experts. Participants gain skills to create final projects to effect change in local communities and beyond. Leveraging our social media platforms of nearly 4 million followers, we amplify members' voices and projects to inspire collective action.

Why TOP Co-Op?

Co-op: "A group created by people who have a specific need and are willing to work together to operate and organize a plan that will meet that need." The IPCC Sixth Assessment Report highlighted the need for more people to join the climate movement. Despite widespread concern, many hesitate to act due to perceived barriers. In response, we launched TOP Co-Op to train, support, and connect aspiring change-makers, fostering a community of climate champions and catalyzing collective action. The TOP Co-Op program provides an accessible entry point to engage in climate action. Participants translate inspiration into tangible initiatives through workshops, expert mentorship, and a supportive community. The curriculum covers activism, climate science, and campaign development, promoting inclusivity across race, gender, and socioeconomic status. It culminates in transformative final projects. We amplify these efforts through storytelling, amplifying our fellows' voices to inspire further action.
